A graduate in any discipline is needed for a Student Welfare officer role. This role is required on a full time basis at a great School in Sunderland to start in September or asap. It is a pastoral role is to start as soon as possible, term time only and on a permanent basis and would be working with pupils in Key stages 3 and 4 with children experiencing SEN and SEMH needs. The school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

The ideal candidate would:

• Have good time management and organisational skills
• Have a passion for working with children with SEN and SEMH needs
• Have experience of working with children in KS3 and 4
• Have good communication skills
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Be able to attempt to problem solve

Required Qualifications

  • Hold/Predicted a degree with a 2.2 or above
